This Friday, October 15th, the Flomaton Hurricanes will be playing against the St. James Trojans. The Hurricanes and Trojans both have a season record of 10 and 1. I sat down with senior football player, JaTe’vius Franklin, and asked him for his thoughts on the upcoming game. Franklin stated,  “Each player has been working very hard to prepare for this game. St. James is a good team and has had a good run this year. No one is for certain what exactly will happen Friday night but what I do know is that we will play our hardest. The game should be a good one so you best come out to see it.”

The town of Flomaton is very eager to see the outcome of Friday night. Multiple students at Flomaton High School have explained their excitement about the game by saying they wouldn’t miss this game for anything. This game has definitely been the main topic of discussion by pretty much anyone and everyone in Flomaton and surrounding towns.

The game will be held at the Flomaton High School stadium at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $8 and will be sold at the gate and at AHSAA.com. Students can buy tickets in the office until 2:00 p.m. on Friday. If you are planning on attending the game make sure to layer your clothing and bring plenty of blankets to bundle up! The weather is supposed to be considerably chilly with low of 37 and an average temperature of 44. Both concession stands will be selling hot chocolate in order to help everyone stay warm. This game will for sure be one for the books so please come out and show your support to the Hurricanes.
