The Auburn Tigers kicked off their 2018 season by facing Washington in Atlanta. Auburn’s last trip to Atlanta was not good, losing in the SEC Championship Game to Georgia last year. They bounced back this past weekend beating Washington 21 to 16. Auburn rallied to score the final touchdown with 6:15 remaining in the game.

Auburn’s defensive line was their biggest bright spot during the game. They pressured Jake Browning, Washington’s Quarterback, all night long. Their defense could possibly cause problems for other teams all season. Auburn’s backfield has potential to be great this year. Jatarvious Whitlow has some big shoes to fill being Kerryon Johnson’s replacement. Whitlow showed potential by scoring a touchdown from ten yards out to give Auburn the final lead of the game. I think Auburn has a chance to be a threatening team this year.
