See You at the Pole was on Wednesday September 26, at 7:00 a.m. All around the world students will gather around their flagpoles, praying for their school, friends, family, church, etc. It is student led and organized with millions of students participating in this event.

Megan Hall, a participant, said it was a really cool thing to do and that it gives students an opportunity to express their faith. Mitchell Faulk gave the devotion to all the students. Then, they each took turns praying for each other and their community. There was a total of sixteen students at the flagpole in Flomaton.

See You at the Pole was created in 1990 because youth ministers in Texas challenged young people to meet on a common day to pray. People were concerned about how to help those who wanted to pray together find each other. The flagpole was something every school has which made it the most common place to meet.
