In today’s society, the social media cite known as Facebook is mainly for “old” people. Your parents have a Facebook, your grandparents have a Facebook, and most of your family that is older then you have a Facebook. But does this mean that it’s mostly for old people? There are 1.5 billion people in the world as of 2015 that have a Facebook account out of 7.1 billion people recorded on earth. Every single one of these people are not elders or “old”. If you are 16 and you go around and ask 16 year olds in your school if they have an account and get on it, every 7 out of 10 people will say yes. Many people may think this site is for older people but most of the people posting statuses on this site are either 32 or younger. The statistics do not lie. The next time you get on Facebook, see how many old people post compared to young.
