Meryl Streep once said, “Being a role model is equal parts being who you actually are and what people hope you will be”. This quote is very true. When you are a Senior, you are responsible for so many things. You have to make so many decisions and still try to be a good role model for the younger students. Being a Senior is a lot more difficult than being in any other grade. Today, I interviewed Da’Shun Odom, a Senior at Flomaton High School, and asked him a few questions about what it’s like being a Senior.

Da’Shun has attended Flomaton for all of his four high school years. He is very involved in basketball and football. Some of his favorite things to do are play basketball and fish. After high school, he doesn’t know what he is going to do, but he wants to eventually go into the NBA. One thing he said he would like the underclassmen to know is “shoot all of your shoots”. Although being a Senior is very hard, it is very important to make memories and keep a positive attitude.
